Transfers administration of Nebraska's student internship program from the Department of Economic Development to the Department of Labor

Maintains existing program structure providing grants up to $7,500 per internship to businesses with fewer than 150 full-time employees for hiring students in professional or technical positions

Preserves eligibility criteria for students in grades 11-12, enrolled in higher education, or within 12 months of graduation from secondary school or college

Keeps the annual funding cap at $1.5 million from the Job Training Cash Fund, with businesses limited to 100 grants total per 12-month period and no more than 2 grants per student

Removes requirement for Department of Economic Development to execute a memorandum of understanding with Department of Labor for data exchange, as both functions would now reside in the same agency
