Creates a process to seal eviction records in Nebraska, allowing tenants to petition trial courts for "clean slate relief" that removes eviction proceedings from public records

Requires courts to automatically seal records when an eviction case is dismissed against a tenant

Allows immediate petition for record sealing in specific circumstances: when a writ of restitution was reversed, vacated, or never executed; when the eviction occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic (March 13, 2020 – June 30, 2021) for nonpayment; when a minor child was named as a defendant; or when the eviction violated existing tenant protection laws

Permits tenants to petition for record sealing 3 years after a writ of restitution was issued or final judgment entered in cases not qualifying for immediate relief

Prohibits landlords from considering sealed evictions in housing applications and bars questioning tenants about sealed eviction records in applications for housing, employment, bonding, licensure, or education; operative date January 1, 2026
