Requires each Nebraska school board to include student members equal in number to elected board members, with students serving as nonvoting members in an advisory capacity

Student members must be enrolled in grades 10-12 in good standing and serve one-year terms, with selection methods including student elections, principal nominations, or application processes

Student board members must attend all public meetings, receive meeting materials, be seated with the board, serve as liaison to the student body, and may introduce agenda items

Student members are prohibited from voting, attending closed/executive sessions, or accessing confidential student, personnel, or legal information

School boards must adopt policies and procedures for student members by January 1, 2027, with initial terms beginning no later than the 2027-28 school year
