Dr. Campbell practiced internal medicine at Ainsworth Family Clinic from August 1978 to June 2024, serving as the sole healthcare provider for the community for many years

Career included service with the U.S. Public Health Service and Indian Health Service Branch, plus leadership roles as Chief of Staff at Brown County Hospital and Medical Director of Brown County and Keya Paha County Ambulance Associations

Performed over 500 baby deliveries as one of few internists in Nebraska to provide obstetric care, while also covering the hospital emergency room

Dr. Campbell directed the $10,000 award donation to Brown County Hospital Auxiliary
