Nebraska Head Start Association established in May 1965 is being congratulated by the Legislature on its 60th anniversary

Over 5,620 individuals served by Nebraska's 20 Head Start programs through Center-Based services, Home-Based services, and Early Head Start-Child Care Partnerships

Programs provide comprehensive services including early childhood development, education, medical, dental, mental health, nutrition, and social services

Partnerships maintained with three federally recognized Native American tribes: Omaha Tribe of Nebraska, Santee Sioux Nation, and Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska

Resolution directs that a copy be sent to the Nebraska Head Start Association
