Approves the Game and Parks Commission's intent to incorporate Camp Augustine, a 156-acre former Boy Scouts campground owned by the city of Grand Island, into the state park system pursuant to section 37-342

Camp Augustine is located adjacent to Mormon Island State Recreation Area and would be managed in conjunction with or as part of that recreation area

Anticipated benefits include expanded hiking and biking trails, river access, campgrounds, and facilities for hosting local, regional, and statewide outdoor events

Costs of incorporation must be approved through the normal Appropriations Committee budgeting process, with the Game and Parks Commission providing estimated fiscal impact including expected cash fund versus General Fund requirements
