Nebraska Legislature applies to Congress under Article V of the U.S. Constitution to call a convention limited to proposing a congressional term limits amendment

The proposed amendment would set limits on the number of terms a person may serve in both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate

Clerk of the Legislature must transmit copies to U.S. Senate and House leadership, the House Judiciary Committee chair, Nebraska's congressional delegation, and presiding officers of all state legislatures

Application may be aggregated with similar term limits applications from other states toward reaching the two-thirds threshold (34 states) required to trigger a convention, but cannot be combined with applications on other subjects

Application remains in effect continuously until at least two-thirds of state legislatures submit applications on the same subject
