Proposes an interim study to examine recommendations from a November 2024 consultant report to the Legislative Mental Health Care Capacity Strategic Planning Committee, hired pursuant to section 50-702

Designates the Health and Human Services Committee to conduct the study

Authorizes the committee to confer with stakeholders including state agencies, law enforcement, defense attorneys, mental health professionals, and behavioral health organizations

Requires the committee to report findings and recommendations to the Legislative Council or Legislature upon conclusion of the study
