Potential collaborating partners include local school districts, State Department of Education, Department of Agriculture, University of Nebraska Cooperative Extension Service, state 4-H program, and Future Farmers of America

Study must include considerations for ensuring participation from students in low-income urban areas and identify potential funding sources such as state appropriations, federal grants, and private sponsorships

Education Committee designated to conduct the study and report findings and recommendations to the Legislative Council or Legislature
