Legislative resolution recognizing Ken Lonowski of Waverly, Nebraska for his public service, including 28 years in the United States Army and Nebraska Army National Guard

Ken served in the 82nd Airborne, was named Paratrooper of the Year in 1995, and was selected as one of only 54 military personnel nationwide for a specialized team focusing on weapons of mass destruction and terrorist activities

After retiring from the Army in 2011, Ken joined the Nebraska State Patrol on March 21, 2016, serving as Security Guard, Security Communications officer, and Shift Supervisor at the Nebraska State Capitol

Ken was named Supervisor of the Year in 2021 and retired from the State Patrol on January 9, 2026

Resolution directs that a copy be sent to Ken Lonowski in recognition of his contributions to the country and State of Nebraska
