Designates January 2026 as Nuclear Power Month in Nebraska

Honors public power employees and retirees who work or have worked at nuclear facilities across the state

Recognizes the Great Plains New Nuclear Consortium (formed by Nebraska Public Power District, Omaha Public Power District, and Lincoln Electric System) exploring deployment of 1,000-2,000 megawatts of new nuclear generation

Acknowledges Nebraska's status as the only 100% public power state and home to Cooper Nuclear Station

Notes ongoing nuclear feasibility siting study funded by the Legislature and Nebraska Department of Economic Development
