Dr. Bob Bleicher of Eagle, Nebraska received the 2025 Copic Humanitarian Award from the Nebraska Medical Association and Copic Insurance for meaningful volunteer work improving local healthcare

Over 40+ year career as internal medicine physician and pulmonologist, later becoming board certified in hospice and palliative medicine and founding HoriSun Hospice in Lincoln

Volunteer service includes Clinic with a Heart (free clinic for uninsured/underinsured patients), Lancaster County Medical Society's Medical Assistance Program, and board membership at Bluestem Health federally qualified health center

Directed $10,000 award donation to three organizations: Clinic with a Heart, Nebraska Medical Association Foundation, and Lancaster County Medical Society Foundation

Legislature congratulates Dr. Bleicher and directs a copy of the resolution be sent to him
