NEBRASKAland Foundation will present the NEBRASKAlander Award to Kenneth E. Stinson on March 1, 2025, at the annual Statehood Day Dinner in the Nebraska State Capitol

Kenneth E. Stinson is Chairman Emeritus of Peter Kiewit Sons' Inc., an employee-owned construction and engineering company with 2024 revenues of $16 billion operating across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico

Stinson graduated from University of Notre Dame in 1964, served two and a half tours in Vietnam as a U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps officer, and earned a master's degree from Stanford University in 1970

Led numerous Omaha civic projects including the Aksarben Village transformation, CHI Arena and Convention Center, Charles Schwab College World Series Baseball Stadium, and RiverFront Park

Legislature congratulates Stinson on receiving the NEBRASKAlander Award and directs that a copy of the resolution be sent to him
