Wausa High School one-act team won the 2024 Nebraska School Activities Association Class D-1 State Play Production Championship held December 11-13 in Norfolk, Nebraska

Team earned first place with 178 points for their production of "Torn, the Seven Deadly Sins," written by coach Sheila Hoesing and directed by Sheila and Brad Hoesing

Individual awards included Outstanding Performer (Braydon Hoesing), Outstanding Technical Crew Members (Braden Bloomquist and Jake Munter), and Outstanding Technical Crew for the team

Legislature formally congratulates the team and directs copies of the resolution be sent to the team members, coaches, and award recipients
