Expands the automatic fire sprinkler system exemption from detached 1-2 family dwellings to detached buildings with up to 4 dwelling units used only for residential purposes

Amends multiple state statutes including the State Fire Code (RSA 153:5), fire warning device requirements (RSA 153:10-a), State Building Code (RSA 155-A:10), and subdivision regulations (RSA 674:36) to reflect the expanded exemption

Prohibits the state fire marshal, state building code review board, and local planning boards from requiring sprinkler installation in qualifying residential buildings

Applies to all new construction, renovations, or conversions of qualifying buildings after the effective date; existing buildings without sprinklers are not required to retrofit them

Takes effect 60 days after passage
