Commission membership includes 3 House members, 2 Senate members, the Senate clerk, the House clerk, and the Secretary of State or designee

Legislative members receive mileage reimbursement at the legislative rate for commission duties

Commission must hold its first meeting within 45 days of the act's effective date and submit findings and legislative recommendations by November 1, 2026

The commission automatically dissolves on November 30, 2026 through a prospective repeal provision
