Clarifies that taking wild birds or animals at night is prohibited except when specifically authorized by New Hampshire Fish and Game rules

Specifies that normal vehicle operation using headlights, fog lights, or auxiliary driving lights on public or private roadways does not constitute illegal night hunting, nor does incidental use of alley lights, reversing lights, or scene lights during typical vehicular maneuvers

Creates exemptions from the night hunting light prohibition for persons engaged in agricultural activities (including livestock/crop protection), utility or forestry work, land management, or emergency response

Exempts property owners and those with permission from the light restriction when on private property, provided no hunting or wildlife harassment occurs

Removes the existing legal presumption of knowledge/intent based solely on possession of certain caliber firearms or ammunition types; effective date is January 1, 2027
