Elevates the penalty for disobeying a police officer's signal to stop a vehicle (fleeing/eluding) from a class A misdemeanor to a class B felony under RSA 265:4

Expands the class A felony penalty to apply when a fleeing driver causes any injury or death to a person, rather than only death as under current law

Removes the intermediate class B felony category that previously applied when fleeing resulted in serious bodily injury

Maintains the class A misdemeanor penalty for other forms of disobeying an officer, such as failing to comply with directions or ignoring traffic control devices

Requested by the New Hampshire Department of Safety and takes effect January 1, 2027
