Authorizes pharmacists to prescribe and dispense FDA-approved prescription devices necessary for administering prescribed medications, including inhalation spacers, nebulizers, CPAP machine supplies, insulin pump supplies, diabetes testing supplies, and pen needles/syringes

Expands the legal definition of "practice of pharmacy" under RSA 318 to include prescribing authority for certain prescription devices

Requires pharmacists to make reasonable efforts to notify the prescribing practitioner or patient's primary care provider when dispensing these devices, though notification is not required before dispensing

Directs the Board of Pharmacy, in consultation with the Board of Medicine and Board of Nursing, to adopt rules implementing the new prescribing authority

Takes effect 60 days after passage
