Allows the Commissioner of the Department of Safety to designate an authorized person to receive criminal conviction information from background investigations, rather than requiring the commissioner to personally receive all such information

The designated person must be authorized by federal authorities to receive criminal conviction information

Amends RSA 21-P:15-c, III, which governs employee candidate background checks conducted through the Division of State Police and FBI

Takes effect 60 days after passage
