Applies regardless of how many rental units the tenant applies for or leases from the same landlord or agent

Defines "application fee" broadly to include fees for background checks, credit checks, administrative costs, initial applications, renewals, or applications to other units under the same landlord

Adds this prohibition to RSA 540-A:3, which covers specific prohibited acts by landlords

Takes effect 60 days after passage
