Extends the filing period for political organizations to nominate candidates for state offices by 10 full business days after the regular candidate filing deadline closes

Allows political organization chairpersons to file nominations during this extended period only for offices where no candidate filed during the regular filing period

Regular candidate filing period remains unchanged: first Wednesday in June through the Friday of the following week

All filings during the extended period must be made with the secretary of state

Takes effect 60 days after passage
