Polling place moderators may pause ballot counting no earlier than 11:00 p.m. if they believe counting will extend beyond 12:00 a.m., with counting to resume the next morning at the same location

Ballots and materials must be securely stored overnight with at least 2 election officials or one official and one police officer present continuously, and a chain of custody form must be completed

Up to 5 members of the public may observe the storage area overnight, with officials rotating observers if more than 5 wish to watch simultaneously

The select board or school board must record the storage scene with time-stamped audio and video, and live broadcast it on the governing body's website and local cable channel if available
