Creates new criminal offense for possessing a firearm in violation of a court order requiring surrender of all firearms and ammunition, classified as a class A misdemeanor for first offense and class B felony for subsequent offenses

Adds this offense to the list of qualifying offenses that trigger a presumption the defendant is dangerous and may be denied bail under RSA 597:2

Bail denial presumption applies only when the underlying court order was a domestic violence protection order under RSA 173-B, or when the defendant is also charged with domestic violence under RSA 631:2-b

Takes effect 60 days after passage
