Prohibits non-conforming vehicles from stopping, standing, or parking in spaces designated for electric vehicles unless actively charging, or in spaces designated for mopeds/motorcycles unless the vehicle qualifies as such

Establishes a minimum fine of $62 for violations, with 20% of the fine payable to the town or city where the violation occurred and the remainder going to the state Highway Fund

Requires designated parking spaces to have signage meeting Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) requirements, clearly visible to anyone approaching the space

Department of Safety estimates a one-time system implementation cost of $116,000 in FY 2027

Takes effect 60 days after passage
