Creates a new classified position of "academic research and improvement performance data analyst" within the Department of Education's division of education analytics and resources, at no less than administrator III level

Requires the data analyst to collect and analyze data measuring student progress, evaluating program effectiveness, guiding curriculum development and resource allocation, and promoting accountability

Tasks the position with assisting educators in using data to improve educational decision-making and student learning outcomes statewide

Appropriates $160,000 for fiscal year ending June 30, 2027 to fund the new position

Takes effect 60 days after passage
