Mandates annual firearms safety training in all New Hampshire public schools (grades K-12) starting with the 2027-2028 school year, with a minimum of one instructional hour per year

Requires the Department of Education, in consultation with the Department of Safety, to develop or adopt standardized curriculum by January 1, 2027, with materials provided to districts at no cost

Establishes age-appropriate content: grades K-5 focus on avoidance and reporting; grades 6-12 cover firearm mechanics, safe handling, secure storage, and state/federal firearms laws

Prohibits live firearms or ammunition in classrooms but allows training aids such as dummy firearms and multimedia resources

Allows parents or legal guardians to opt their children out of all or part of the training, and requires annual compliance reports from school districts to the Department of Education
