Mandates annual review of safety standards by the Commissioner, with updates as necessary and maintenance of review records available to interested parties upon request

Authorizes hiring of up to 6 labor inspectors (labor grade 22) and one support staff position (labor grade 19) to enforce the new standards

Estimated state expenditures exceed $639,000 in FY 2026, $580,000 in FY 2027, and $594,000 in FY 2028, funded through the Department of Labor administration fund or restricted fund
