Appropriates $100,000 from the education trust fund for fiscal year ending June 30, 2026 to the Department of Education to hire an attorney dedicated to reviewing education laws

Attorney will review RSA Title XV, Chapters 186 through 200-N to identify duplicative statutes, contradictory laws, and areas that can be consolidated

Attorney will report findings and proposed legislation recommendations to the Commissioner of Education, with work to be completed by September 30, 2025

Commissioner of Education, in consultation with the attorney general, will have exclusive supervisory authority over the hired attorney

Appropriation is nonlapsing and represents a special exception to normal restrictions on education trust fund usage
