Other provisions of employment contracts remain valid and enforceable; only the non-compete restriction portions are voided

Applies only to new contracts or contract renewals entered into on or after the effective date, not existing agreements

Takes effect 60 days after passage, with fiscal impact of less than $10,000 annually from FY2026-2029
