Creates a separate, enhanced penalty category for driving 100 mph or greater, removing it from the general reckless driving statute where it previously appeared.

First offense for driving 100+ mph carries a minimum $750 fine plus penalty assessment and 90-day license revocation, up from the previous $500 fine and 60-day revocation.

Subsequent offenses for driving 100+ mph carry a minimum $1,000 fine plus penalty assessment and 90 days to one year license revocation.

General reckless driving penalties (not involving 100+ mph speeds) remain at $500 minimum for first offense and $750 for subsequent offenses, with 60-day to one-year revocations.

Effective date is January 1, 2026, and the bill was requested by the Department of Safety.
