Publicly-owned or publicly-operated properties accessible to the public must provide designated smoking areas where smoke is not detectable by sight or smell in any public or common area, if smoking is not entirely prohibited on the premises

The requirement does not apply to publicly-owned property or state-controlled areas that are not accessible to the visiting public

Amends RSA 155:66 (Indoor Smoking Act) by adding a new paragraph II-a

Estimated fiscal impact of $260,000+ in FY 2027 for constructing approximately 100 enclosures at $2,600 each, plus indeterminable ongoing maintenance costs funded by the General Fund

Takes effect 60 days after passage
