Requires the General Court to hold at least 10 public hearings throughout the state before proposing any redistricting plan, plus at least 3 additional hearings after a plan is proposed but before any vote

Mandates at least one hearing in each of New Hampshire's 10 counties, with priority given to areas experiencing the largest population shifts since the previous redistricting

Requires the General Court to maintain a free public website containing all proposed redistricting plans, public comments, census and demographic data, and a portal for citizens to submit alternative plans and community of interest maps

Prohibits legislators, staff, and consultants from asserting legislative privilege to prevent disclosure of written or electronic information related to the redistricting process

Known as the "Fair Maps Act," the legislation cites findings that Democratic state senate candidates have repeatedly won close to or more than 50% of statewide votes while winning significantly fewer seats
