Amends RSA 415:5, III to change terminology from "nonrenewable, individual" health insurance policies to "short-term, limited duration" health insurance policies

Removes the current state-specific cap of 6 months maximum coverage term for short-term health insurance policies

Eliminates the existing restriction that prohibited issuing short-term policies to individuals who had more than 540 days of such coverage within the preceding 24-month period

Ties short-term health insurance policy duration limits to federal law, allowing initial terms and total duration (including renewals or extensions) up to the maximum permitted under federal regulations

Takes effect January 1, 2027
