Provides State-paid tuition for New Jersey residents who are dependent children or surviving spouses of U.S. Armed Forces members killed in the performance of their duties

Covers undergraduate study at State colleges and universities, NJIT, Rutgers, Rowan University, and county colleges for students in good standing

Scholarship amount covers tuition costs not already paid by other scholarships, tuition aid grants, or state assistance programs

Eligibility limited to 8 years from date of death for surviving spouses and 8 years following high school graduation for dependent children

Higher Education Student Assistance Authority will administer the program with annual state appropriations to fund it
