Movie theaters must maintain equipment for closed captioning and audio description devices at patron seats for digital movies that include these features, and provide staff assistance before, during, and after showings

Required minimum devices vary by theater size: 1 auditorium requires 4 captioning/2 audio devices; 2-7 auditoriums require 6/3; 8-15 auditoriums require 8/6; 16+ auditoriums require 12/9

Devices must be provided to patrons at no additional fee, and theaters must publicly notify customers about device availability

Exemptions apply to theaters showing only analog movies and drive-in theaters; theaters are not required to add captioning to movies not originally produced with these features

Amends the Law Against Discrimination (P.L.1945, c.169) to explicitly include "movie theater" in the definition of public accommodations, with violations subject to existing civil rights penalties
