Requires all mental health practitioners (clinical social workers, marriage and family therapists, alcohol and drug counselors, professional counselors, psychologists, psychoanalysts, and related professionals) to complete a minimum of 4 hours of suicide prevention training as a condition of licensure

Mandates ongoing training of 4 hours every 6 years following initial licensure for all mental health practitioners

Currently licensed practitioners must complete 4 hours of suicide prevention training within one year of the bill's effective date

Directs the Division of Consumer Affairs to establish a list of approved suicide prevention training programs and create a protocol for training providers to seek program approval

Takes effect 90 days after enactment, with the Division required to adopt necessary rules and regulations in consultation with relevant licensing boards and committees
