Requires the Administrative Office of the Courts to translate indictment pleadings, plea agreements, motions, and other pertinent criminal court documents into the primary language of defendants, witnesses, or legal guardians

Mandates translation services for at least nine languages: Spanish, Chinese, Portuguese, Italian, Korean, Hindi, Arabic, Haitian Creole, and French

Court interpreters provided under N.J.S.2B:8-1 may assist with written translations when practicable

Requires courthouses to post conspicuous signs in waiting rooms, reception areas, and entry points informing the public of available language assistance services, including translation and interpretation

Signs must be displayed in English, Spanish, and other languages the Administrative Office of the Courts deems necessary
