Students who have previously earned an associate degree, college credits, or participated in dual degree programs while in high school would become eligible for Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) grants, provided they meet all other existing eligibility requirements

Students with prior college credits or associate degrees would no longer be excluded from participating in campus-based EOF programs at any New Jersey institution of higher education

Standard EOF eligibility requirements remain unchanged: applicants must be New Jersey residents for at least 12 months, attend an approved degree or study program, demonstrate financial need, and comply with board rules

The changes take effect immediately and apply starting with the first full academic year following enactment
