Making or possessing devices/materials to create false vaccination verification cards is also a second-degree crime with the same penalties

Exhibiting, displaying, or presenting a false vaccination card is a third-degree crime punishable by 3-5 years imprisonment and up to $15,000 fine

Simply possessing a false vaccination card is a fourth-degree crime punishable by up to 18 months imprisonment and up to $10,000 fine

Attorney General must establish a COVID-19 vaccination fraud prevention program within 30 days, with access to the New Jersey Immunization Information System to verify vaccination status of suspected individuals while maintaining confidentiality
