Requires parents or guardians of students with epilepsy or seizure disorders to submit annual seizure action plans to the school nurse, who must develop individualized health care and emergency plans

Mandates that all school staff, including those working school-sponsored programs outside regular hours, receive training in the care of students with epilepsy and seizure disorders every five years

Training must be through a Department of Health-approved online or in-person course provided by a nonprofit national organization supporting individuals with epilepsy and seizure disorders

Individualized health care plans must include physician orders, student-specific symptoms and care recommendations, exercise accommodations, and provisions for field trips and after-school activities

Amends P.L.2019, c.290 to take effect on the first day of the first full school year following enactment
