Expands access to the Administrative Office of the Courts' domestic violence central registry to include licensed psychologists, psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, clinical social workers, and marriage and family therapists

Access is limited to practitioners who have incurred a legal "duty to warn and protect" a potential victim of violence under existing New Jersey law

The domestic violence central registry contains records of persons with restraining orders against them, those charged with domestic violence crimes, and those charged with violating court orders related to domestic violence

Unauthorized disclosure of registry records by any authorized recipient remains a fourth-degree crime, punishable by up to 18 months imprisonment and/or a $10,000 fine

Takes effect on the first day of the second month following enactment
