Requires Silver Alerts to be broadcast as frequently as possible during the first three hours after issuance, following New Jersey Broadcasters Association guidelines

Changes media participation from voluntary to mandatory, requiring outlets to inform the public when a Silver Alert is issued for a person believed to be suffering from dementia or cognitive impairment

After the initial three-hour period, alerts must be rebroadcast at intervals deemed appropriate by the lead law enforcement agency and participating media

Takes effect on the first day of the seventh month following enactment
