Licensed adult day health services facilities would be authorized to provide services remotely via telemedicine/telehealth to enrollees who are unable or unwilling to attend in person

Remote services may include daily wellness checks, nursing care, social work, dietician services, pharmacy consultations, therapeutic recreation, and delivery of ready-to-eat meals at no additional cost

Facilities must also provide delivery of activity packets and materials, plus transportation coordination for medical appointments

Remote services would be reimbursed at the same rate as in-person services, provided facilities document each service and include remote interactions in the enrollee's care plan

The Commissioner of Human Services must apply for necessary Medicaid State plan amendments or waivers to secure federal funding for these services
