County colleges must allow eligible high school students to enroll in career certificate program courses when classroom space is available

Students must meet all eligibility requirements: be a New Jersey resident, be at least 16 years old, be enrolled in grade 12, maintain good academic standing, and obtain written permission from their high school principal

Students enrolling in career certification or license courses are not required to have a State-endorsed diploma or GED completion prior to enrollment

County colleges are not required to waive prerequisite course requirements or application procedures for any program

The law takes effect immediately and applies to the first full academic year following enactment
