Taxicabs, limousines, and transportation network companies (like Uber and Lyft) are authorized to provide paratransit services in New Jersey for a two-year pilot period beginning four months after enactment

Paratransit services covered include ADA-compliant transportation provided by NJ Transit, workforce development transportation, senior/disabled resident transportation assistance, and Medicaid non-emergency medical transportation

Each paratransit provider using taxicabs, limousines, or TNCs must submit a report to the Department of Transportation within 60 days after the pilot period ends, detailing ride numbers, safety violations, and accident information

The Department of Transportation must prepare a report within 90 days after the pilot period evaluating the program's efficacy, including a recommendation on whether to make the arrangement permanent
