Servicemembers with military medical training (Combat Army Medics, Navy Hospital Corpsmen, or equivalent) who hold a current National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians certification can be certified as EMT-Basic in New Jersey upon passing a criminal background check

"Servicemember" is defined as active duty, reserve, or National Guard personnel from any branch, as well as veterans who received an honorable discharge

Eliminates the requirement for the Commissioner of Health to evaluate whether military training meets or exceeds state certification standards for qualifying servicemembers

Requires the Department of Health to publish clear EMT-Basic certification requirements for eligible servicemembers on its website in an easily searchable format

Amends P.L.2013, c.101 and takes effect immediately upon enactment
