Department of Agriculture, in consultation with Department of Education, must develop and make available an Internet-based school meals application for all school districts and nonpublic schools participating in school lunch or breakfast programs

The online application is designed to facilitate subsidized school meals determinations under existing New Jersey hunger and school meal laws, including the "Working Class Families Anti-Hunger Act"

Schools that implement the Internet-based application must continue to provide hard copies of subsidized school meals applications to parents and guardians

Schools currently using their own Internet-based school meals application have one year from enactment to switch to the state-developed system

Schools must publicize the availability of school meals programs and make every effort to ensure students receiving subsidized meals are not identified differently from students receiving unsubsidized meals
