Establishes a three-year Gun Court Pilot Program in Passaic County Superior Court to handle criminal cases involving guns or other dangerous weapons used in the commission of crimes

Requires judges assigned to the Gun Court to have extensive knowledge and experience in criminal law, procedure, and sentencing, particularly for violent crimes

Administrative Office of the Courts will administer the program and monitor its effectiveness

Mandates reports to the Legislature at 12 months after program launch and within 6 months after expiration, evaluating impact on sentencing, court workload, and whether to continue or expand the program

Takes effect on the first day of the third month after enactment and expires three years after the effective date
