Penalties for smoking cigarettes on public beaches remain unchanged at the existing lower amounts

Recovered penalties from beach violations would be split 50% to the State Treasury for smoking cessation programs and 50% to the municipality where the violation occurred

Amends the 2005 Smoke Free Air Act (P.L.2005, c.383) to create a separate, higher penalty structure specifically for cannabis and marijuana smoking at public beaches
